Project description

Glucocorticoids are used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases. The underlying molecular mechanism is believed to involve the inhibition of specific gene expression. In this project, however, we want to characterize the induction of proteins involved in the negative feedback regulation of proinflammatory signaling as an alternative mechanism.
