Project description

Simulation and benchmaking of reference heat exchangers, which are typically used in heat pump applications. Improving the thermal and hydraulic performance of the reference heat exchangers by a combination of enhancement techniques, resulting in compound designs. Extending existing heat transfer and friction correlations with additional parameter groups, which describe the influence of the enhancement technoques. Evaluation of the new design correlations with a case study.
