Project description
The aim of this project is to characterise the effect of quorum sensing disruption in V. harveyi, both at the level of the bacteria and the host. In addition to this, bacteria that can degrade autoinducer-2 will be enriched and/or isolated. All experiments are based on an in vivo model sytem with gnotobiotic Artemia nauplii.
