Small Hydrophobic protein
Project description
Respiratory Syncytial virus (RSV) is an important human pathogen. There is only one prophylactic therapy available against RSV and there is no vaccine. In this project we will study the function of the small hydrophobic protein of RSV. In addition, we will evaluate if the RSV-SH protein is a candidate vaccine antigen.
