Het voorgestelde project heeft tot doel het werkingsmechanisme van huisstofmijt-specifieke immunotherapie (HSM SIT) te ontrafelen.

We zullen deze vraag op 2 manieren benaderen:

- Ex vivo: in perifeer bloed en op lokaal weefselniveau van patienten die HSM SIT ondergaan.

- In vivo: in SCID-muizen gereconstitueerd met mononucleaire cellen uit perifeer bloed van patiënten die HSM SIT ondergaan.
