Projectomschrijving
Recent studies indicate signals derived from the beta2 adrenergic receptor (adrb2) modulate inflammation. In this study we use different in vitro and in vivo models of neuroinflammation to unravel the molecular basis of this interaction. More specifically, we want to address how beta-adrenergic signals modulate the molecular function of NF-κB, one of the crucial mediators of inflammatory reactions.
