Project description

A comprehensive approach combining simulated gastrointestinal digestion (SGID) and in silico analysis will be used to facilitate the identification of antidiabetic peptide sequences derived from the manila clam. Conventional cell model and more experimental 3D intestinal organoid model will be applied for evaluating permeability of originated peptides and the mechanism involved in transmission through epithelial cells.
