Project description

The greenhouse horticulture sector in the border region is among the best in the world. However, the current energy crisis has created a great need in greenhouse horticulture to reduce energy consumption. In addition, the European Union has the ambitious goal of being climate neutral by 2050.

In order to achieve this climate target, research is therefore still needed so that new innovations can be implemented in practice. Moreover, the current energy crisis is a strong motivator for greenhouse horticulture companies to apply energy-saving measures and thus become profitable again.
