Project description

<p>The research explores the agency of traditional rug weavers in northern Iran. The central methodology of collecting data and producing knowledge is based on collaborative rug design and production with the research participants. This practice research reflects on the ethics of representation of the craftswomen and their material culture in Iran and in the world.</p>
