Project description

Ipaf, Nalp1 and Cryopyrin/Nalp3 zijn cytosolic Nod-like (NLRs) that are implicated in the stimulus-dependent assembly of large caspase-1-activating protein complexes called ' inflammasomes'. We will characterize the upstream signaling pathways that lead to activation of the inflammasomes by making use of making use of mass spectrometry-and MAPPIT-based degradomics and interactome analysis.
