Project description

This project focuses on the synthesis of novel, biologically relevant quinoline derivatives. To that end, new synthetic strategies will be explored, such as catalytic hydroformylation and the synthesis and application of aziridine-quinoline hybrids. The new compounds will be tested for their bioactivities, especially concerning their antimalarial and antimicrobial activity.
