The present '' Success '' - PROJECT aims at the isolation and purification of '' minor '' components (squalene, sterols, tocopherols) from vegetable oil distillates by means of super critical technologies (esterification and extraction), and its use in the food - and cosmetic industries. In addition, the '' laagwaardigere '' biodiesel (ester fraction) - obtained as a by-product in the isolation of the intended '' minor '' components - are evaluated for technical applications.
