Project description

The present project aims at the construction of a philosophical anthropological and moral scientif model on the role of self-awareness and self-awareness based empathy or mindreading in the origin and evolution of morality. Our objective is a refinement and foundation of the current perspective in moral philosophy on the role of self-awareness in morality, by insights and research results in modern moral psychology and evolutionary psychology.
