The research project aims to document the level of motor competence in individuals and groups irrespective of age, from the perspective that motor competence is an underexplored research domain, an observation that contrasts with the importance of this developmental domain in the life span of each individual: daily life, sports, passtime activities, school or work. In this research, the three classic phases are systematically tackled:
1) documentation of the level of motor competence in all age groups, typically and atypically developing children, adolescents, adults, and elderly
2) exploration of the correlates and determinants of motor competence differences
3) development, piloting, evaluation, and implementations of sustainable interventions aimed at the improvemend of motor competence
