Project description
Tes, a potential tumor suppressor, controls actin cytoskeleton assembly at cellular adhesions. We will study structure-function relationships of Tes variants lacking specific domains. By combining proteomics with live cell imaging, we will determine how Tes and two identified partners regulate actin dynamics and cell migration. This will generate information on functions and mechanisms of Tes in cell migration and invasion.
