Project description
We investigated both parts of the urban heat island, day- and nighttime, in the city of Ghent. First we tried to determine which spatial variables are responsable for the occuring higher temperatures. In the second part, we linked these results to investigate if the higher temperature is a threat for the inhabitants. As conclusion we propose some policy measures.
