The assignment includes conducting a scientific study of the Dutch-language family facilities in Brussels (childcare for babies and toddlers, out-of-school childcare and preventive family support)
Childcare for babies and toddlers
Following the previous studies, the following themes will be investigated:

  • The Brussels context
  • Childcare for babies and toddlers in Brussels: offer
  • Recording and priority policy
  • The users (profile and search process) and non-users (inflow / outflow)
  • Evolution of the deficit and needs
  • Effects of the policy and foreseeable effects of a new policy (new decree on childcare: local counter, language, etc.)

After-school childcare

  • The Brussels context
