The project will focus on optimising the nutrition of dogs, cats and horses and includes 3 research themes:

1) nutrition and energy metabolism including research into the role of nutrition in the prevention and treatment of obesity

2) nutrition and gastrointestinal health with, among other things, research into the role of nutrition in, for example, the gut-brain axis

3) Sustainability with, among other things, research into the use of insects in pet food.
