Project description

CYLD is a de-ubiquitinating enzyme that is constitutively expressed in almost all cell types. Although the impact of CYLD cleavage on lymphocyte signaling was clearly demonstrated in vitro, we do not know the impact CYLD cleavage has on lymphocyte function in vivo and its potential contribution to inflammatory and autoimmune disorders such as diabetes, arthritis and chronic bowel inflammation.
