In this project, we will take an ecosystem approach to technology transfer, and study a number of specific topics which fit the ecosystem approach. Particularly, we will focus on providing a stronger justification for the relevance of student entrepreneurship, and indicate how and why it is a distinct organizational form. Next to this, we will focus on academic spin-offs, focusing on understanding their performance and the career paths of academic founders.
