Project description
This project focuses on the microbial conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) and CO2-derived molecules to added-value products such as acetic, butyric and isobutyric acids. The aim of the project is threefold: (i) characterization of novel microbial catalysts, (ii) development of novel reactor technologies, and (iii) insight generation and process optimization using mathematical models.
