Project description

Nanos proteins are RNA binding proteins, whose zinc finger domain is conserved even in Drosophila, and which form molecular complexes with translation regulating Pumilio proteins. Project aims are multiple and all related to a possibly important role of Nanos/Pumilio proteins in tumoral malignancy. Instructive mouse tumor models will be generated. Feasibilities for molecular therapy of human cancer will be studied.
