Project description
This project continues the WHO-MONICA (MONItoring of Trends and Determinants of CArdiovascular Diseases) project, in which we participated in 1982-1992.
In the 25-74 years old population, the attack rate of acute coronary events is registered.
Aims: follow incidence, morbidity and lethality due to acute coronary events over time; contribute to quality of mortality statistics; monitor treatment effectiveness in health care.
