Project description
The goal of the research is efficiently measuring pulse-wave velocity (PWV) in patients, which is a strong indicator for cardiovascular disease risk, measured on skin with LDV (using a prototype designed and finished in a previous H2020 project. Algorithms and software are designed and optimized through new data collected in clinical studies. Novel ways of acquiring pulse-wave velocity are investigated.
