Monitoring and controlling feed intake on individual basis is imperative to understand the development of the digestive tract and to evaluate the effect of dietary interventions in weaned piglets. The proposal seeks for the purchase of two electronic one-space dry feeders enabling to record and control in real-time the voluntary feed intake in an animal friendly and practical manner.
