Project description

The overall objective of this study is to establish a scientifically based and generally applicable quantitative framework for the environmental adjustment of future sand replenishment. This framework will allow 1) to limit the environmental damage during construction and 2) to accelerate the ecological rehabilitation after incarceration. In this last, conclusive part is drawn up a simulation model of the beach ecosystem, wherein the quantitative information on the relationships between the various components ecosystem, based are brought together in mainly food-web from the other modules.
