Project description

This PhD project will focus on denitrification in marine sediments, with

special emphasis on denitrifying bacteria and their trophic interactions with

small invertebrate grazers. A multidisciplinary approach will be used, in

which both field measurements and lab experiments will be conducted to

identify and quantify the importance of these interactions on denitrification.
