This project aims to achieve a holistic approach to security in and around football stadiums of Belgian professional clubs. The ultimate goal is the development of a Football Security Barometer with which relevant stakeholders (Football Security Department FPS Home Affairs, Pro League, KBVB, professional clubs, police) can in an information-driven way support and shape their policy in the fight against different forms of football violence (e.g. racism, unlawful use of pyrotechnic material and physical violence).
