Technology scaling has made designing traditional ADCs increasingly challenging. VCO-based ADCs have emerged as a promising alternative, allowing ADC performance to scale with technology thanks to their near-digital nature. However, existing high-bandwidth VCO-based ADCs have only demonstrated first-order noise shaping, limiting their performance.
