Project description
The goal of this research proposal is investigating different methods to immobilize photocatalytic nanopowder (e.g. TiO2) in a porous polymer matrix, synthesized using phase inversion method. Furthermore, the usability and efficiency of these photocatalytically active polymer layers will be researched by degrading ethanol as volatile organic compound, using ultraviolet (UV) light.
