Project description

Lactarius is one of the major genera of macrofungi. Subgenus Russularle is well repressented in South-East Asia but many of the species are only known from the type locality: the area is seriously underexplored. We combine morphological and molecular approaches to investigate species delimitation, genetic and morphological diversity, and intercontinental conspecificity in Lactarius subgenus Russularia in Sout-East Asia and Europe.
