Project description
The risk of developing clozapine-induced neutropenia is closely linked to the duration of drug therapy, with the majority of cases occurring within the first 18 weeks. This study explores the use of double unique molecular identifiers (UMIs) combined with high-accuracy long-read nanopore sequencing for HLA gene analysis, annotation of HLA gene variants and evaluating their associations with adverse reaction to clozapine.
