Project description

We present a ’New Approach Method‘ (NAM) which mimics dissemination, dormancy and colonization of cancer cells all within a one-step phenotypic assay. This METAstasis in the Lab (‘METAL’) assay does not require animals and allows to intervene in each step of the metastatic cascade. Development of image processing software and further validation of the assay will enable evaluation of therapeutic drug.
