With the RE-ENNOVATE project, the project partners aim to develop a software platform that will enable a building owner and his construction team to renovate the property in phases, to propose energy-saving investments based on their effectiveness and cost-effectiveness, and to respond to the owner's (comfort) needs. The development and rollout of the proposed approach will support Flanders to achieve a substantial part of its objective to bring the total building stock renovated to EPC label-A by 2050 at the latest. In addition, homeowners and residents will be are encouraged to achieve effective and measured CO2 savings so that the EU target of a highly energy-efficient and CO2 neutral building stock can also be made a reality.
