Project description

The project consists of supportive actions and objectives to achieve a more substainable, clean and energy efficient urben transport system in the cities Ljubljana, Ghent, Zagreb, Brno and Porto. Ghent University is the responsible partner for the implementation of B30 (mixture of 30% biodiesel) in the captive fleets of public organisations in Ghent region. This measure covers: preparatory work on the removal of the financial tax-barrier for biodiesel, to obtain the guarantess from car manufacturers for the use of B30 and the develoment of a seperate B30 pump circuit.
