Chemical synthesis focuses on creating bonds that are crucial for the chemical industry. For complete molecular control in complex systems, it is necessary to form new bonds and break existing ones. This project aims to develop new coupling and cleavage methods based on published work at Ghent University on alkynones and thioacetals, to meet this scientific challenge.
