Project description

To unlock a new range of possibilities on photonic chips, one must be able to integrate special materials with particular properties into such chips. Building upon the expertise in material deposition at UGent, this proposal will investigate novel deposition methods of such materials. Especially in high-speed communication, neuromorphic computing and single photon generators, this will unlock unprecedented possibilities
