Project description
The preset proposal aims a conceptualization and delineation of obsessive-compulsive symptoms in children and adolescents from a dimensional developmental perspective. A bottom-up taxonomic analysis will be conducted to obtain a comprehensive itempool of developmental and age-specific indicators of OC-features at young age, followed by a psychometric analysis of the underlying dimensional structure. Associations of these dimensions with general personality and early manifestations of personality pathology will be examined to increase insight in the continuity of Axis-I and Axis-II disorders.
