Project description

Cancer mouse models are becoming indispensible tools in the study of human cancer. As the behavior of these murine tumors often mimics that of its human counterpart very well, it is currently one of the best resources for testing new therapeutic paradigms. High-throughput genomic profiling and next generation sequencing will be used to analyse the tumors derived form the murine neuroblastoma models. By doing so, we hope to find additional mutations in a tumor with a known strong genetic driver and expect to fain new insights in the pathogenesis of neuroblastoma and to reveal new therapeutic targets.
