Project description

This proposal situates within recent academic and societal debates on the possible 'geopoliticization' of EU trade policy. What 'geopoliticization' entails remains unclear. Moreover, China, the most plausible case, remains understudied. To what extent and how does 'geopoliticization of trade' manifest itself in EU-China relations? My research uses an innovative conceptual framework and directed content analysis of data from various
sources.
