Worldwide, there is a sharp increase in demand for quantum dot material, given the many applications. Moreover, UGent's quantum dot technology has been sufficiently developed to be commercially interesting. Yet there is still a crucial step to be taken, which is to scale up quantum dot material synthesis to an industrial level. In this StepStone project we want to build a credible scale-up route and also find investors for the new spin-off.
