Project description

The goal of this study was to define the possible migration of ink and glue components applied on plastic food packaging. For this purpose, an inventory of relevant compounds used in inks and glues and their risk ranking was performed. Moreover, the migration potential of various compounds, as influenced by the type of packaging material, its thickness and initial concentration of migrant was investigated applying the simulation program.
