Project description

This study analyzes the role cooperatives could play in facilitating the adoption of wireless sensor networks amongst small-scale farmers. Through cooperatives, farmers could access sensor technology cheaper and its application could be better adapted to the farmers’ needs which will have a positive impact on their productivity levels. Cooperatives could have a yardstick effect and positively influence the market conditions.
