Project description

This project traces the impact of the birth of the EU and the broader process of Europeanization on practices within the field of medieval history after 1945. The focus lies on changing institutional contexts and discursive features of medieval history writing, as well as on social networks and epistemic practices within the field of professional medieval history (500-1500 CE).
