Project description
Interlayers are of major importance for the engineering of load-bearing glass constructions. In this investigation the time- and temperature dependency of ionoplast interlayers is modeled based on an extensive testing program. In addition failure mechanisms and residual strenght and stiffness after fracture of the laminatee are studied. Finally, design recommendations should be formulated to improve the design's economics and safety.
