Project description
This project aims to reduce the impact of gender-based violence on maternal health during the perinatal period in the Ramallah Governate. This is intended 1) by generating knowledge on gender-based violence incidence and mental health effects of gender-based violence on women and their infants and by b) improving gender-based violence related mental health screening for post partum depression and support during the perinatal period with specific attention to the impact of gender-based violence on mental halth by investing in capacity building of perinatal health care workers to improve the health and well-being of both moter and child.
