Project description
This research focuses on the durability of uncracked and cracked concrete as well as on the durability of self-healing concrete. Durability of concrete in marine environments is examined in laboratory by simulating chloride attack, sulphate attack and combined environmental attack. To quantify the influence of these attack mechanisms on the different concrete types, service life is predicted.
