This projects aims at characterizing the molecular mechanisms of GSK3-mediated drought tolerance in plants. Intragenic mutations in BIN2 will be identified through Targeting Induced Local Lesions IN Genomes (TILLING) screens in Arabidopsis and in crop species. Molecular and phenotypic characterization of these mutations will be carried out by using genomics, proteomics approaches and drought-tolerance assays.
