Project description

This project evaluates the use of doxorubicin-loaded microbubbles (i.e.: ultrasound responsive gas bubbles) for the destruction of circulating tumor cells. A new type of microbubbles will be designed for this purpose. These microbubbles have a surface loaded with anti-N-Cadherin antibodies that will be used to specifically recognize the circulating metastasis.
