Project description

Long non-coding RNAs form a recenlty discoverd family of molecules with important, but overlooked functions in development and disease. We will study the effect of these non-coding RNAs in HIV disease, focusing on their possible role in regulating HIV transcription and/or apoptosis; both important mechanisms in HIV replication and latency development.
